The Oval Arty Ring. Absolute trend of the year

I'm sure you have seen the amazing YSL oval arty ring on the fingers of numerous trend setters. I don't quite know what was the reason this ring became such a trend but I definitely know it's one of the most beautiful rings I have ever set eyes on.
Is it about the colourful oval stone it has on top? Is it the brand? I have no idea! All I know is that I want that ring on my finger too.

One the absolute s/s trends is lace. Match your lacey top with a short skirt and platforms or high heel sandals and you're ready to go. Complete your look with golden accessories and a clutch for extra glamour.

Look of The Day

Sometimes in order to be good-looking and make an impression, we exaggerate and we end up looking like fashion victims. Play safe and wear your beloved denim shorts. Match them with a white basic shirt or even with a bustier. Complete your look with sandals (flat or medium heel) and a pair of sunglasses. Perfect for the sunny days!

Look Of The Day

Wear a plain white shirt and match it with coral shorts, same colour shoulder bag and golden accessories. I'd choose to put on a pair of beige wedges instead of purple platforms.

S/S 13 Nail Trends

Contrast was the name of the game when it came to nails at the fashion shows. Looks ranged from light and innocent to dark and dangerously chic this season.

Pale Nails

Neutral, cream colored nails for spring isn’t such a shock. It’s a minimalist trend that’s been gaining momentum since last year. There were soft milky shades at Marc Jacobs, pure whites at Rag & Bone, and plenty of un-done French mani’s at Chanel. This season, toning down your nails is the new way to play it cool.

The Dark Side

A dark romantic mood was also noted backstage. From the grayish navy shades at Jason Wu to the purple vinyl at Marchesa, the dark angel look went over big.

Metallics

Gold, silver, cooper; there were no shortage of luxurious finishes at the spring shows. Standouts included the glam galaxy nails at Nicole Miller, created with a diamond decal, and the sleek platinum racing streak at Monika Chiang. For those who want to experiment with the trend without going too far, try painting just your tips with a bit of sparkle or decorating one or two nails with specks of gold.

Two Tone Manicure

Bold without being too over the top, the dual polish effect got plenty of play at the shows. A new twist on the French manicure, the look is easy to do on your own. Just pick contrasting shades that flatter your skintone and use a small brush to paint on a graphic style. Try a half moon, a vertical split, a V-shape or a diagonal strip.

Edgy Elements

Manicurists played around with dark and dangerous themes, giving us a medieval “cage” effect with crisscrossed strips at Rodarte, a shark-bite jagged edge at The Blonds, a goth-inspired reverse mani at Thierry Mugler and the much talked-about “dripping blood” look with tiny splatters of red polish at Prabal Gurung.

June Must-Have Shoes

This summer, metallics, cut outs, and espadrilles are ranking highest on the trend list, and after a search I've narrowed it down to the best of the best. It's time to refresh your sunny summer style ladies, and let your feet do the talking.

Espadrilles
Tory Burch

Make room in that closet for the ultimate spring-to-summer stepper; the espadrille! Whether you go for a pair of flats, tie-up wedges, or lace-ups, these babies guarantee you'll be strutting around in comfort and style.

Cut Out Flats
Salvatore Ferragamo

Comfort and convenience are major ingredients to ensure an endlessly fun summer and nothing lends to spontaneity like a pair of flats. From work to play, these sinfully chic must-haves offer a casual elegance with their trendy laser-cut details. Make sure your flats make the cut this season.

Metallic Sandals
Musa

A day-to-night sandal is, without question, the most important footwear of summer. This glitzy take on a neutral shoe, can be mixed and matched with almost any piece in your wardrobe, making the high-impact sandal a vacation necessity.

Strappy Wedges
Burberry

A neutral wedge is a great way to get your height fix, while keeping your outfit summer friendly.
