How To Spot Fake Juicy Couture Items

This is a basic guide to help you spot fake Juicy Couture clothing. If you're paying for Juicy clothes then you definitely want them to be authentic!

All Juicy Couture Clothing tags are color coded according to size:

X Large - Light Blue
Large - Green
Medium - Beige
Small - Orange
Petite (X Small) - Pink

This is the easiest way to spot a fake. Most fake tags are orange. New Juicy tags will have a TM at the end of the scroll on the right side. New Juicy tags will have a (R) in the scroll after “JUICY COUTURE.”

A Note on Juicy Sizing:

Juicy generally runs small. The sizing charts for the sweat pants are pretty accurate:

(Women’s)
X Large - 14
Large – 10 / 12
Medium – 6 / 8
Small – 2 / 4
Petite (X Small) – 0

The hoodies once again, run small, and are cut/designed for tall, slim frame. If you have any semblance of curves, you’ll generally need to buy larger sizes. Case and point: I’m a small in most women’s tops, but I’m an XL/L in Juicy hoodies. If you are having trouble finding a larger size, try Juicy’s maternity, where the sizes start out much bigger.

Brand New With Tags:

Juicy tags are GOLD (Well, you could even say they’re a metallic-y yellow), but not matte yellow. Most fake tags are easy to spot. Keep a set of authentic tags for reference.

Ottavio Missoni Passed Away!

The founder of the fashion house Missoni, passed away in 9/05/2013 in Sumirago, Italy.

Before his career in fashion, Missoni was a 400m runner. In 1955, Ottavio Missoni founded a woolwear brand called "Maglificio Joly". The name was changed to "Missoni" in 1958. The iconic zigzag pattern was quickly established, and the sweaters got a sexier reputation when during the 60s, the fashion house used braless models.

Ottavio Missoni was under a lot of emotional pressure after his son, Vittorio, mysteriously disappeared near Venezuela.

Missoni Style

Missoni was known for its geometrical patterns and abstract florals in a kaleidoscope of colors. The fashion house is also known for using many different fabrics such as wool, cotton, linen, rayon and silk.

"It's not a bag. It's a Birkin"

I used this line from Sex and the City to emphasize on how special this bag is for a woman. Of course, you don't need anyone like me to talk to you about its uniqueness.
The bag that all women die to have in their wardrobe was named after Jane Birkin (British actress and singer) and it's the absolute symbol of wealth. Not any regural woman can own a Birkin since the price ranges from $9,000 to $150,000.

The price of a Birkin Bag varies according to the size, colour, hardware fixtures and skin. You can have a Birkin in any size or colour that matches your personal style. One of the most expensive Birkin Bags are those made of saltwater crocodile skin.

-Matte Crocodile Skin Birkin
-Price: $120,000

This bag is one of the most expensive ones and it's made of crocodile skin and has a clasp containing 10 carats of white diamonds. There are also cheaper versions of this bag in the market starting from $5,000

Victoria Beckham is known for her fine taste and she owns 100 Birkin Bags! It is said that her birkin collection alone is worth £1.5million.

Nina L'Eau - The new fragrance by Nina Ricci

Nina Ricci launches a new version of the Nina perfume form 2006 called Nina L'Eau. The new fragrance came out in late January 2013.

Romantic and subtle, fresh fruity and aquatic, Nina L'Eau opens with refreshing notes of apple, grapefruit, mandarin and neroli. The heart includes watery accords along with gardenia and cherry. The base is sensual musky.
Nina L'Eau is available as 30, 50 and 80ml Eau de Toilette.

A fresher interpretation of Nina.A new modern princess with attitude, and a more asserted personality.I confess that I don’t know an awful lot about perfume, but I am a huge fan of Nina Ricci’s fragrances, having used Ricci Ricci religiously for a couple of years. This perfume does not disappoint, as it is light, summery and feminine, at the same time as being quite ‘young’ and fresh. It’s an absolutely stunning smell, and it makes me feel all bright and cheery wearing it!
